I have been a Hong Kong resident for the past 12 years. Previously a Director in the Consumer Goods and Logistics industries, my specialisation is in Marketing and Business Management. I have created and conducted trainings at the entry and executive levels for large multinational Corporations.
After the birth of my children, I realised I was limited in my ability to access the online shopping services available in Hong Kong. Taobao has a huge variety of interesting and unique products, however not knowing Chinese held me back from trying to order. This fuelled my motivated to learn and become a frequent Taobao user.
Now an "expert Taobao'er", I get daily requests to place orders on behalf friends and family because they do not want to go through a buying agent they don't know. This has made me realise that I can share my knowledge and use my professional training experience to teach others to be independent Taobao shoppers.
